JEFFREY PEREZ – Executive Chef
Born in Los Angeles raised right here in Miami – The “305”
EXECUTIVE CHEF – Jeffrey Perez has been greatly influenced by the flavors of Central America and the Caribbean Islands. His cooking career began at his family’s seafood restaurant, “Heads or Tails”. A small and casual seafood restaurant, Jeffrey had the opportunity to learn all the ins and outs of the food industry. A few years later his parents convinced him to go to culinary school to further his education and also gain more experience as a cook. While at school he left his parents business and took on several cooking positions at High End Kitchens such as The Ritz Carlton, Oceanaire, and Tuyo. He later worked at City Chef Catering as a Jr Sous Chef under his chef instructor from school. Now he is bringing all that experience and talent to Zubi’s Fish House near the design district where they will be serving Hispanic infused recipes at a reasonable price with fresh ingredients.
